As a professional masseuse, I am always after customer satisfaction. That is one thing that I value the most, when it comes to my work, so I make sure that I give a good service with every booking I get. I can give different types of massages. I practice Shiatsu mostly, but I also offer Swedish therapy, reflexology, and an aromatherapy massage, if that is what the customer wants.
Among my specialties, aromatherapy is the most popular service I give out. There is just this distressing factor with the massage oils and the lighted aromatherapy candles that I bring along that relaxes my clients even more. That is why I always stock up on my aromatherapy requirements such as aromatherapy oils, incense and scented candles. I also play soft music while I work, so the customer is 100 percent happy.

Carrier oils or base oils are used to dilute massage oils. Oils used in aromatherapy penetrate the skin, so they need to be diluted properly so you could reap the best benefits from your massage session. A carrier oil is basically used to carry the essential oil and open the gateway for them to make an entry into the skin and render the health benefits from your aromatherapy session. . These carrier oils are also referred to as cold-pressed vegetable oils. These are not easily absorbed into the skin. Some types of carrier oils include peanut, wheat germ, walnut, and aloe vera. Almond oil can also be used as carrier oil, but it may also be a bit too oily for some. A healthy, and often-used carrier oil, is olive oil.
Most of the oils that we find in ordinary groceries are heated, and not cold pressed, so they have less health benefits. You or your therapist has to balance your aromatherapy carrier oil with the essential oil to maximize the health benefits of your session.

I must admit I have really developed a dependence on watching television at night to help me sleep. I started this habit after my divorce last year and I really hate it. I stay up later than I would normally and I never feel rested in the morning.
My friend recommended I try using some essential oils to induce sleepiness at night. So I bought some chamomile oil to try. I plan on trying it tonight and going without the television. I really think it could work!

I love summer, but I hate mosquitoes, and it seems like every summer I get bitten to death. I hate the idea of using synthetic bug spray to repel the biting bugs, so I have typically worn long clothing to avoid bites. This is a problem because long clothing gets annoying on hot days.
This year I have decided to try using citronella oil. Citronella oil is commonly used in aromatherapy and works well to keep mosquitoes at bay. Both citronella candles and oil work well as insect repellants.

Sometimes traveling, whether by land, air, or sea, can be a harrowing experience. The different smells can make me dizzy. I make sure I keep myself relaxed and my travels stress-free by bringing a lavender hydrosol with me.
I spray it everywhere and inhale the mist. Just a spray gives me instant relaxation. It’s also great as a room fragrance, especially when I’m stuck in a hotel room that has that faint mildew smell.

Aromatherapy works so well to alleviate the tension that is created from my work life. When I get home, I just love to have the option to light some candles and reflect. I have added a new element to my aromatherapy schedule which is meditation.
When I meditate, I can feel a weight being lifted off of my shoulders. It is really enhanced by lighting candles and having the wonderful smells swirl around me. I am starting to gain control in my life again with these rudimentary procedures.

Everyday when I come from work, the first thing I do after I put down my belongings is start the tub. It is my happy thought when I am sitting at the office. In order to get the knots out of my back, the best thing to do is curl up in the tub with a good band playing and relax. One thing that enhances my bathing experience is a good aromatherapy candle to put me into an even nice mood.

Scent is one of those little thought of things that has a huge affect on who we are as human beings. When we have experiences, most of them are stored in our long term memory bank. Even if we cannot have each memory in the forefront of our minds, those memories are stored for later recollection. The reason why they are needed for later musings is an evolutionary one. When a primitive being would experience something, let’s say a stomach ache from a toxic fruit that is stored so that later when she is reminded of that same thing, she knows to put it down and walk away. It could be a color, a specific feel or even a scent. Aromatherapy an example of the scents awesome powers.
